PET medicine bottles have good chemical resistance properties

- Apr 07, 2025-

PET medicine bottles have good chemical resistance and can be used for packaging all objects except strong acids and some organic solutions. The recycling rate of PET epoxy resin is higher than other plastics. When ignited as waste, it is flammable due to its low combustion heat card value and does not produce harmful substances. The selection of certain raw materials and materials for the production and manufacturing of medical drug bottles can fully follow specific production and research and development standards to develop trends and progress. The food packaging materials made from PET medicine bottles comply with food hygiene and safety regulations. Due to the fact that PET medicine bottle epoxy resin is not only a non-toxic epoxy resin, but also an authentic epoxy resin without preservatives, it has passed very strict food hygiene laws and is known as a standardized and safe packaging material for pharmaceutical medicine bottles and food.

A good place to recycle PET medicine bottles
At present, only a small portion of PET bottles worldwide are recycled into plastic and its unsaturated polyester products. The vast majority of the remaining fibers are used in the textile industry, which is internally referred to as cellulose fibers.
After these PET medicine bottles are acquired, they will be first broken and processed before being packaged and transported to textile product manufacturing plants. Factory employees will leave the bottle cap and bottle identity of the medicine bottles, and the bottle cap will be handed over to other factories. The bottle body will be immersed in sodium hydroxide to remove the adhesive in the plastic glue. Then mix and bake the remaining plastic, and press them into fine threads. Afterwards, gather the fine threads into large strands, heat them up, and continue with the actual operation. After further crushing, the plastic will turn into a lightweight soft bristled toothbrush like a down jacket, which can then be used by the weaving factory to start making clothes.

Due to the high temperature heating, recycling plastic into clothes and pants is not harmful to human health.
