Introduction to the use and precautions of droppers

- Apr 18, 2025-

1. The main purpose of a dropper is to suck or drip a small amount of liquid reagent.
2. When using a dropper with a rubber head, the middle and ring fingers should be used to firmly grip the glass part, and the thumb and index finger should be used to pinch the rubber head to control the amount of liquid reagent inhaled or dripped.
3. When adding liquid to a container, it should be ensured that the dropper does not penetrate deep into the interior of the container, let alone touch the inner wall of the container. The dropper should be hung vertically above the container, about 0.5 centimeters away from the container mouth.
4. When using a dropper, it should not be inverted or placed flat on a table, but should be inserted into a clean bottle or test tube and kept vertical.
5. After use, immediately clean the dropper with clean water. Before replacing the reagent, it is strictly prohibited to inhale another reagent without cleaning. The specialized dropper on the dropper does not require cleaning.
6. Ensure that the rubber cap fits tightly with the glass dropper to prevent leakage. If the rubber cap ages, it should be replaced promptly to ensure sealing.
